Netflix continues to delight One Piece fans. According to the new statement from the company, another anime adaptation will be prepared for the popular manga series. This anime will be produced by the famous producer Wit Studio.
Wit Studio will prepare One Piece for Netflix
In its latest statement, Netflix announced that One Piece will get a new anime series. For this, Shueisha announced a partnership with Fuji Television Network and Toei Animation. Wit Studio, known for its works such as Attack on Titan and Spy X Family, will prepare the new series.
The new One Piece anime will cover the beginning of the story in the East Blue saga. It will follow the same story arc as Eiichiro Oda’s popular manga. According to the company’s statement, viewers will see Wit Studio’s “high-level animation skills” in this production as well.
In fact, it should be reminded that the One Piece anime has been broadcast weekly in Japan since 1999. This series, produced by Toei Animation, will receive an upgrade in both visual and narrative with Netflix.
The studio change indicates that there may be some changes in the story line. It is thought that Wit may skip some events from the story to keep the narrative more exciting.
No release date or cast details have been shared yet for the One Piece anime. It is unclear whether the voice actors in the series prepared by Toei Animation will be worked with.
